Is this trip right for you?
verified
This is an overland trip. That means you’ll be travelling with a group in a purpose-built vehicle, visiting remote communities, setting up your own tent, occasionally roughing it in the bush with no facilities, and getting the best possible views of Africa's iconic wildlife. While the trucks don’t have air conditioning, they do have sliding windows, which let in the breeze and make it even easier to take spectacular snaps of the local wildlife. The drive days can be long, but it’s as much about the journey as the destination, and half the fun is the camaraderie. There will be many early starts either to make better use of the safari time or to beat the morning traffic on long travel days.

The trip itinerary, and game watching was excellent. All the stops were well planned and interesting. A well-balanced trip between camping in the national parks, backpacker stays and visiting the major cities. The crew was the best.

These past 22 days were awesome! We saw so many animals and learned so much about the culture of South Africa, Eswatini and Lesotho. We had safari days, beach days and cultural days! This trip does have a lot of driving, but it is worth it to get to see so much of these beautiful countries. The campsites were awesome and one even backs onto a waterhole where we got to see so many different animals essentially in our backyard. We had the most amazing crew! If you’re lucky enough to get Spha, Dumi and Dineo as your team, you’re guaranteed to have a wonderful trip filled with fun and laughter!

An incredible trip. A whirlwind adventure with early mornings, a lot of laughs, and many unforgettable stops along the way. Walking with rhinos in ESwatini, hanging out on the beach at Chinsta, and summiting Sentinel Peak were some stand out days. A huge thank you to Christian, Somkhele, and Patrick!

A truly amazing adventure combining the very best nature and cultural experiences that these three Southern African nations have to offer. Christian, Patrick and Somkhele welcomed us like family and it truly made the experience all the better for it.
