Is this trip right for you?

This is an overland trip. That means you’ll be travelling with a group in a purpose-built vehicle, visiting remote communities, setting up your own tent, occasionally roughing it in the bush with no facilities, and getting the best possible views of Africa's iconic wildlife. While the trucks don’t have air conditioning, they do have sliding windows, which let in the breeze and make it even easier to take spectacular snaps of the local wildlife. The drive days can be long, but it’s as much about the journey as the destination, and half the fun is the camaraderie. Great trip, the Rain God came with us in force, so the upgrade options were a blessing. Seeing so many animals was why I went, only Mr Leopard did not appear, and I will treasure the memories.

This trip is absolutely unique & stunning! Be aware you will be camping, sleeping on the ground, doing a lot of food prep, dishes, and putting tents up and down so it is camping! But nothing beats waking up at 3 am and hearing the sound of lions roaring or hyenas! Also, as someone who usually travels cities, this is a lot of animal watching. So, don't be surprised when on day 9 you're still driving around looking for animals!

The Garden Adventure tour brought many delights, such as seeing meerkats in the early morning. The scenery is breathtaking in some parts and as usual, Africa never disappoints when it comes to seeing all kinds of animals.

This was a fabulous trip and will live in the memory for a long time. Christian and the team were great hosts looking after us every step of the way. A particular highlight for me was seeing the wildlife in its natural habitat. Would highly recommend this trip.

This was an excellent trip to see parts of the South African countryside, parks and coast. The highlight was the safari in Kruger where we got to see a vast array of wildlife in its natural habitat which was a fabulous experience. The team of three including the guide Christian worked collaboratively together to ensure everything ran smoothly and that we were on time, at location, fed and watered when we needed to be. Vehicular transport and the standard of campsites far exceeded my expectations and in the end it proved to be an enjoyable and rewarding trip and one that I will remember for a very long time. I would highly recommend.
