Trip Informations
Why you’ll love this trip
Spend two days exploring the Bungle Bungles– a unique orange and black striped 'beehive' formation more than 20 million years old.
Relax at Lake Argyle – one of the largest man-made lakes in the southern hemisphere. Kayak, stand-up paddleboard or swim in the infinity pool and soak up the views of the area.
Hike to gorges and waterfalls in the El Questro Wilderness Park. Unwind in the natural thermal pools shaded by palm trees and look for ripple markings in the rocks, formed under shallow tidal waters millions of years ago.
Explore the rugged terrain of the Mitchell Plateau on a 4WD adventure. Hike to the four-tiered Mitchell Falls and take a helicopter flight back to camp for panoramic views from above.
Visit the secluded Dalmanyi (Bell Gorge) and swim in the clear pool, surrounded by a horseshoe of cliffs and tiered waterfalls.
Is this trip right for you?
This is a camping trip for those who are looking for the basics. Simple facilities and lack of emphasis on creature comforts make this an authentic experience of the Australian outback. All of the camping equipment you need is provided, including stretcher beds and a mattress to sleep on, 190cm high tents, comfortable camping chairs, linen and a pillow. All you need to bring is a sleeping bag (or purchase one from us for an additional cost). A Single Supplement is not available on this trip. As a single traveller, you will be paired up with another single traveller of the same gender.
On some days of the trip, you’ll spend several hours driving through very sparse areas of Australia. Sit back and enjoy landscapes that you would miss in any other form of travel. Extra space can be tight, and conditions may feel a little cramped. There will be some very early mornings.
This itinerary involves some clambering over rocks, wading in water by torchlight, walking on rocky creek beds and ascending/descending into gorges. A reasonable level of fitness and being sure on your feet is necessary to participate.

PARTICIPATORY CAMPING
It is important that travellers participate in setting up camp each night, though the leader can assist where necessary. An authentic outback Kimberley experience. The country is spectacular and offers a real insight into the First Nations people and their culture particularly their relationship to the land and the rivers. The guides were so engaging and informative. Highly recommend this Kimberley adventure.

This trip has been one of my most amazing, educational and fascinating trips I have been on. It covered a good amount of varied activities: visiting art sites, swimming, hiking, exploring, listening to stories about Australian history, collecting firewood etc. The hikes were well planned and suited to people who have a reasonable fitness. People were able to challenge themselves by doing an extra walk in the afternoon. The numerous gorges, waterfalls, walks, rock paintings and sceneries were fantastic. Each day was a treat! The meals were another highlight each day. The tour guides were exceptionally talented and skilled in all areas With a great sense of humour. I can’t recommend this trip highly enough.

14 day Kimberley trip was great. The scenery in the places we visited was spectacular and the swimming spots were amazing. Our guides were fantastic and we had a great group of fellow travellers. The dirt roads can be rough going but the end destinations make it all worthwhile.
