As there are potholes and cobblestones in many European cities, it's recommended that you leave any wheelie bags/cases at home and bring a backpack instead. A large backpack should be enough to carry all your belongings.
verified
Italy is steeped in old buildings and often there are no lifts or escalators, particularly in some train stations or hotels. You may have to carry your bags up and down stairs, but the trek will be worth it.
verified
Don’t let the heat keep you from exploring the world! Summer temperatures can be very high in Italy (over 40°C), which can make things uncomfortable. It’s important to use sun protection, wear layers to combat the heat, and drink plenty of water. Please carefully consider the time of the year you wish to travel and your suitability to that season.
verified
Make sure you pack some sturdy and comfortable shoes as there can be a lot of walking around the towns, ruins and walking trails of this area.

Core memories made! My daughter's first trip to Europe was such a success and traveling with other kids was a contributing factor as to why!

My 9-year-old daughter and I had a fantastic time on this 8-day Italy family tour. Highlights included Pompeii, the pizza-making night, and a delicious farm (agriturismo) dinner. The group was great, and our leader Dario made everything smooth, fun, and engaging. A perfect mix of culture, food, and family fun!

Great family trip. Highly recommend if traveling with kids who are not rambunctious. Trip offered time to spend and socialize with other families who also enjoy traveling and created a pleasurable experience with people from around the globe.
