On Independent Short Breaks, you maintain a good level of independence and freedom, with the added bonus of having the details sorted out for you. You’ll have lots of free time and you won’t be accompanied by a Trip Leader. This means that all included activities and tours will be run by different local Tuuur partners, and these may operate independently from each other. The included activities and transfers will operate on a join-in basis, which means that you could have your Adventure all to yourself, or others may join you along the way. If you would prefer to travel in a group with a dedicated Trip Leader, just get in touch with your booking agent and they will take you through some alternatives.
This trip will run with a minimum of one person, so you may be joined by other travellers booked on the same date as you, or you may be on your own.

I totally recommend including this trip to your travels to South America. Spectacular display of the force of nature. Our guide was amazing in her organisation and knowledge of the area.

Wonderful! My wife and I could have done this itinerary on our own for cheaper, BUT having everything organized by Lillian - our amazing guide was so worth it! No stress, and we had an amazing 2 days in Iguazu! I would highly recommend!

Iguazu falls- truly amazing and so worth the effort to add this short trip at the end of our Peru Encompassed tour. The guide was exceptional and helped all go smoothly and allowed us space to experience this special place at our own pace. Booked flights with Intrepid which all went smoothly.

An excellent mini-break to see both sides of the stunning Iguazu Falls! The boat trip is not to be missed! Our guide Flavio was great always making sure we were ahead of the crowds. Very good accommodation and overall very good organisation for the whole trip.

I would have never been able to see so much of the area in such little time without this tour. My tour guide Lillian was wonderful and extremely flexible. She spoke perfect English (I had several tour guides in Brazil who did not spoke enough English). It was great not having to worry about transportation and having someone who knows how which activity to do best at what time of the day and how to skip lines. I recommend visiting the aviary, it was amazing.
