Trip Informations
Uncover the rugged beauty and rich Indigenous history of Utah – a vast state with some of the USA’s most famous national parks. On this nine-day hiking trip, you’ll get to see their many highlights with an expert guide. Leave Las Vegas behind to marvel at Zion National Park, explore Monument Valley with a specialist Navajo guide, see the inspiring scenery of Moab and explore the spires of Bryce Canyon National Park – the land of the Navajo people. Catch the sunset in Arches National Park and head to the Island in the Sky in Canyonlands National Park before your last hike to Horseshoe Bend.
Why you’ll love this trip
Visit Zion National Park and hike to Scout Lookout, exploring its dramatic switchbacks and incredible views, then experience the iconic Virgin River Narrows as you hike to Orderville Canyon.
Walk the Navajo Loop to the famous Thor’s Hammer hoodoo in Bryce Canyon National Park – known for its crimson-coloured hoodoos (spire-shaped rock formations).
Explore the Island in the Sky section of the vast Canyonlands National Park and take in the incredible sweeping views of the Colorado river valley 1000 feet below.
Sunsets are always beautiful, but nothing can beat the colours of the Delicate Arch as the sun goes down – take your time and enjoy the unforgettable scene of Arches National Park.
Join Navajo guides on hikes through Monument Valley and Bears Ears National Monument, learning about these incredible places from an Indigenous perspective.
Is this trip right for you?
This is a hiking trip; a good fitness level will help you enjoying all included hikes and activities. We recommend you bring a pair of trekking poles to use during more strenuous hikes.
Hiking in these national parks can be hot during summer. Therefore, some of the hikes will take place very early in the morning or at sunset. Sun protection including a hat and sunscreen is a must, along with the capacity to carry at least two litres of water per person, as well as comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for hiking.

This is an incredible trip to all 5 national parks in Utah, plus Bears Ears and Monument Valley. In just 9 days. you will traverse some of the most stunning and diverse landscapes the SW has to offer and go on fun, manageable hikes to see absolutely beautiful vistas. This trip was a real treat. The group of 7 women was awesome, led by our exceptional guide, Wes. If you are lucky enough to get Wes as your guide, you’re in for an incredible, unforgettable trip! Be prepared for long drives and a few days of limited food/drink options, which is completely unavoidable if you want to spend time at these incredible parks. It’s worth it!

Had a blast! I would happily book with intrepid again - this experience went above what I expected and I went on multiple adventures I wouldn’t have thought to consider on my own. The native guides were some of my favorite parts, I walked away feeling really connected to nature and new friends.
