As a professional in the tourism industry in Florida I commend intrepid for the quality and the competence of their in field staff as they can make or break a travel experience. In 2 years I have on 2 long haul trips and planning to book more shortly. Dollars well spent!

If you want to see the well-known sights but also get off the beaten track and get an insight into the history and culture of India, this trip delivers on every level. Expect authenticity over luxury... just what I was after.

I loved this trip beyond words. Sometimes confronting, archaic yet modernising, spiritually diverse- a country of contrasts & great inner beauty. The people were welcoming, generous , gentle and fun. Just go - eat, laugh, dance, experience its wonders and fall in love with India & Nepal, it will change your life!

India is a beguiling mix of old and new, which took us back in time to historic sites, and introduced us to different lifestyles, customs and languages. We experienced a multitude of flavours and tastes; sounds, sights and smells.

Wow, this is an incredible trip full of once in a lifetime experiences. Both of the leaders were so helpful and engaged in the group. They couldn’t have been more helpful, informative and really made the effort to be part of the group.

This tour is a good way to cover a lot of territory and see many parts of India and Nepal.
There is time off during the trip to do optional activities - you need to do these as the included activities are not exhaustive. Think of this tour as an excellent way to manage logistics and safety. This tour will get you to the places you want to go. You need some initiative to see the sights you want to see.
Trip highlight: overnight boat trip of the Ganges
