This was easily one of the best trips I’ve ever taken! The guesthouses, the included meals, the scenery, the hike…this was a fabulous trip from beginning to end. Plus, this trip attracts the most interesting, most experienced fellow travellers. Don’t hesitate, just go!

This trip is a great introduction to Azerbaijan and Georgia. There is a good balance of culture, history, food, scenery, religious sites, markets, etc. A personal favourite were the summer and winter palaces in Sheike, the wine tasting in Sheike, and the guest house in Lahij. The walk to Gergeti church was stunning as well!
