We also have many other trips to Greece which can accommodate a range of dietary requirements.

Summer temperatures can reach 40°C or higher in some areas, so it's important to use sun protection, wear layers to combat the heat and drink plenty of water. Please carefully consider the time of the year you wish to travel and your suitability to that season.

While we start and finish our trip in Athens, there is no time for sightseeing in this city once the trip has commenced. If you wish to explore Athens' wealth of historic sites, such as the Acropolis, the Temple of Olympian Zeus and the Tomb of the Unknown Solider, we recommend that you extend your stay here either before or after your trip.

I loved this well designed itinerary, balancing history, food and relaxation. Plenty of included activities and the optional sea kayak a highlight. Many thanks to Artemis our leader for an excellent tour!

I was doing my first solo trip as a female traveller and was very nervous about finding the right tour. This was FANTASTIC! There was a perfect balance of social, culturally immersive opportunities as well as free time to relax/explore. The accomodation really impressed me as did all of the food. Our tour leader Artemis was warm, friendly and enriched the whole experience. Highlights were the cooking class, local family dinner and kayaking (you’ve gotta do it!)

The Greek food tour was exceptionally good, I lived all stops on the itinerary, the towns and visiting the food producers (and eating the products). The trip was fantastic due to the other travellers in the group and Vassia who is a caring and passionate tour leader.

So much great food to eat, opportunity to chat with producers, led by a really fun and well organised tour leader Artemis. Enough free time to swim and eat, to linger to take in Greece's beauty. Highly recommend.

Could you fly to Greece and eat Greek food yourself - sure. But you would miss out on the knowledge, passion and enthusiasm from a leader such as Evelina. Her great organisation skills made this a seamless journey from start to finish and her passion and pride for her country and food made nights out feel like we were eating homecooked family meals.
