Georgia is a fascinating place and this trip was an excellent introduction to the country - the hiking, food and accommodation were all exceptional as was our leader Zurab. Georgia is a must-visit, especially while it's still a hidden gem!

This was an amazing trip. Anton our guide was excellent and made everything easy for us. The hikes in the Caucasus Mountains were the highlight of the trip. Please be aware though that for 2026 Intrepid appear to have massively downgraded this tour by removing much of the time in the Caucasus. I would not have booked the trip with Intrepid based on the 2026 itinerary.

The Intrepid trip to Georgia is an excellent insight into a fascinating destination. With so much to offer, including the world’s oldest wine and a former soviet holiday destination. Cannot recommend this trip enough!

The trip to Georgia was excellent, well balanced and informative. Ani, our group leader took the stress out of everything and was extremely knowledgeable. Plenty of organised adventures as well as free time.

I have dreamt of visiting Georgia for almost a decade, and this trip surpassed every expectation I had. The itinerary gave us a great overview of beautiful Georgia. There was a good combination of sightseeing and hiking. Our guide, Ani, was very knowledgeable, passionate and friendly. Of course, the food was also fabulous - especially in Svaneti. We also had enough time to explore places by ourselves. I cannot wait to come back to Georgia.

An enjoyable trip that I would recommend to anyone who likes hiking, history, nice scenery and good wine. Our tour leader Ani and the guides were very good at their jobs and made it a great trip, and I also met some lovely fellow travellers.

This trip is the best introductory trip of Georgia! The city, mountains and sea! Our leader Ani made the trip even better!
