Trip Informations
Why you’ll love this trip
Set off on a 4WD safari through Kruger National Park. As you drive, be sure to look for Africa’s legendary animals like cheetahs, buffalo and lions roaming the open plains.
Feel the incredible force of the Zambezi River as it plunges over the cliff edge, creating a mist that nurtures the rainforest ecosystem surrounding Vic Falls.
Visit the Victoria Falls Wildlife Trust and learn about the rehabilitation of wildlife from conflict and poaching. While you’re here, maybe meet some rescued or orphaned wildlife currently in their care.
Spot elephants, leopards, cheetahs, birds and lions, all from the comfort of your open-air vehicle on a safari through Hwange National Park.
Enjoy a dinner of traditional Zimbabwean cuisine followed by a cultural music and dance performance that gives income and support to the local community.
Is this trip right for you?
The African wild comes alive at sunrise, so there will be some early starts for game drives. The thrill of spotting your first lion or rhino is well worth the early start!
This is an overland trip. That means you’ll be travelling with a group in a purpose-built vehicle, visiting remote communities, setting up your own tent, occasionally roughing it in the bush with no facilities, and getting the best possible views of Africa's iconic wildlife. While the trucks don’t have air conditioning, they do have sliding windows, which let in the breeze and make it even easier to take spectacular snaps of the local wildlife. The driving days can be long, but it’s as much about the journey as the destination, and half the fun is the camaraderie. This trip was a wonderful experience and I would likely do it again. If however you are booking this trip for Kruger National Park I would not recommend. Kruger was a bit of a let down and slightly ruined the end of the trip for me

I was nervous about doing a trip like this for the first time, as soon as the trip started any hesitations I had went away. Our crew was so friendly and accommodating. They made everything so fun! I would recommend doing this trip to anyone who would like to visit Africa and be close to the nature and wildlife.

This was truly a trip to remember, made exceptional by Tshepo and the entire team. From the very beginning, they were welcoming, inclusive, and made me feel like part of the group rather than just another traveller. The team were incredibly hands-on, supportive, and always available to help, which made a huge difference throughout the journey. The trip does include long journeys, and there is an element of setting up camp and tents, so it’s important to come prepared and with the right mindset. That said, the team are extremely helpful and guide you through everything, making it a rewarding and enjoyable part of the experience rather than a challenge. Kruger was absolutely incredible — an unforgettable experience and the facilities at most campsites provided were good and well-organised, it is best to ensure that you pack light, and ensure you bring a pillow, blanket and sleeping bag to make your experience as comfortable as possible. Overall, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable, well-run, and authentic experience of Africa.
