This trip was amazing! I love Intrepid’s values and how they organize and plan their trips as well as the small group size! Ecuador is amazing and I would highly recommend this tour! Ana Lu was an amazing guide and we were so blessed to have had her on this trip! She really made the tour special and went above and beyond! This trip exceeded my expectations and I have fallen in love with Ecuador and will be back as soon as possible!

A must-do for adventure seekers, nature enthusiasts, and foodies! The trip had something exciting every day and included amazing places like Cotopaxi and Baños. Our group leader, Etil, was an absolute legend—super chill, knows everything about Ecuador, and made every activity fun and safe. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, engaging, and hassle-free way to experience Ecuador!

An incredible trip and Etiel is an amazing guide. He’s one of a kind. Passionate, thorough and approachable! The long travel days were unexpectedly fun because of the “surprises” he had planned along the way. Beautiful country, so much to see and learn about the history & culture.

Really enjoyed this! You see a lot in a short amount of time, and Etiel was a terrific tour guide, very knowlegeable and welcoming. I would have liked a little more time at Laguna Cuicocha, enough to do more of the rim walk, but that is honestly my only complaint.

I highly recommend this trip! You see so much in a short amount of time. It’s also great for the various hikes and long walks. Ecuador is a beautiful country and having a great guide like Etiel made it even better! If you love the outdoors and nature, you would love this trip.

If you love experiencing a culture and country, it’s definitely worth including the highlands and Amazon as well as a visit to the Galapagos. Loved this trip, full of contrasts, awesome landscapes and warm, friendly local hosts :)

Our trip to Ecuador wouldn’t have been the same without Johanna! From day one, she felt more like a friend than just a guide. Her warmth, patience, and sense of humor made every part of the journey feel personal and meaningful. She was incredibly knowledgeable—not just about the history and culture of Ecuador, but also about the local wildlife, hidden gems, and how to make the most of each day.
If you're lucky enough to have Johanna as your trip leader, you're in for an unforgettable experience. Thank you for everything, Johanna!

The trip was amazing! We had Johanna as our guide and if she is your guide you are so lucky!!! The trip covered a lot of ground from the Amazon Jungle, mountains and urban stays. I would recommend this trip to friends and family.
