Trip Informations
Why you’ll love this trip
verified
Cycle across the largest island of the Dalmatia region, through cypress forests, orange and olive trees and white pebble beaches.
verified
Soak up a full day to explore Hvar Island at your own pace – maybe check out the Hvar Spanjola Fortress, go on a short hike or relax by one of the sparkling bays, it’s up to you!
verified
Enjoy a group picnic and an optional wine tasting experience after your scenic ride through the Peljesac isthmus – a hilly Croatian peninsula jutting into the Adriatic.
verified
Spend your days cycling and your nights relaxing. Indulge in harbourside dinners and tastings of traditional cuisines and famed local wines in Bol, Hvar and Korcula.

Is this trip right for you?
verified
To complete this trip, it’s important that you are both confident and competent in riding a bicycle.
verified
You’ll have a leader that rides with the group, and another that drives the support vehicle (acting as a back marker where needed). Where the vehicle cannot travel directly with the cyclists (e.g. a cyclists-only path) your leader will assign a person from the group to act as a back marker.
verified
While the cycling distances on this trip are relatively short (the longest ride is only 50 km), the terrain of the Dalmatian Coast is naturally hilly and the climate often warm. You’ll need a reasonable level of fitness to enjoy the trip, but the support vehicle is always on hand if you need to take a break for an hour or a day.
verified
As your riding is done mostly on sealed roads with the occasional gravel cycle path, there are no technical cycling skills required. Given the hills, we do suggest practicing riding downhill, so you’re comfortable once the trip begins.
verified
As there are cobblestones and many stairs in most European towns, and space in our support van is limited, it's strongly recommended that you leave any wheelie bags/cases at home and bring a backpack instead.
verified
Hotels in Europe often don't have double beds, but rather two single beds that can be pushed together.

This trip is part of a longer itinerary. You might be joining travellers who have already spent some time together. If you have more time to explore, you might like to check out our Cycle Croatia & the Balkans trip.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ “An Unforgettable Six-Day Bike Adventure — Thanks to Davor and Dany!”
When you come to write a review about a six-day bike trip, it’s really all about the guides and the support team (SAG) — and in our case, Davor and Dany were absolutely exceptional.
The interaction with the back office was minimal. Could they have arranged slightly better accommodations or higher-end bikes? Probably — but what we had was fair and matched the value of the trip. Some of the apartments were better than others; I personally had no complaints, though a few others did.
What truly made this trip spectacular were Davor and Dany.
Dany is a mechanical wizard — he can fix anything, always with a smile, and never lets his impressive beard slow him down! He’d wake up at 3 a.m. to drive the truck with our luggage, even taking a ferry to meet us on the other side of the bay so we wouldn’t have to carry a thing.
Davor was simply amazing — deeply knowledgeable about the history of the country and every island we visited. He was endlessly patient (even when answering the same questions daily!) and constantly sent WhatsApp updates with tips about local supermarkets, pharmacies, and ATMs with low fees — always with a smile. On the rides, he skillfully managed different paces among strong, moderate, and e-bike riders, waiting at intersections or staying behind with the slower group.
Together, Davor and Dany turned the already breathtaking views of the islands into a truly unforgettable experience.

This was a fantastic trip! Both the trip leader and the driver/logistics guy were great people who went over and above what their jobs required. They cared and spent the time and energy to get to know us and could talk about anything. The routes were amazingly beautiful, and the attention to detail was excellent. I couldn't have asked for a better trip!

This is the best way to see stunning Croatia. Beautiful cycling routes and experiences - recommend some uphill cycling training before you go- there are some tough hills in the heat.
