Trip Informations
Experience the old-world charm of Croatia on a sailing odyssey from Dubrovnik to Split. Spend days cruising around impressive coastlines, exploring lush national parks, wandering through medieval towns or rolling off the boat into warm, turquoise waters to swim. Contrast this emergence into Croatia's natural beauty with regular doses of the unique culture and tastes of the lively restaurant and bar scene, indulging in fresh seafood and regional wines while looking onto stunning coastal vistas.
Why you’ll love this trip
What better way to see the historic towns, protected forests and stunning islands of Croatia’s Dalmatian Coast than aboard a private yacht? All aboard for a week in paradise.
Set sail out of beautiful Dubrovnik. The World Heritage-listed walled city plays host to film crews every year.
Wander the length of car-free Lopud in the idyllic Elafiti Islands.
Discover the lush forests of Mljet, which are yet to be spoilt by mainstream tourism.
Visit Odysseus Cave where, according to legend, the king of Ithaca once found refuge after surviving a shipwreck.
take an optional winery tour on the Island of Vis and indulge in a few glasses of the local vino.
Is this trip right for you?
Our yachts have a small Zodiac on board, which is used to transport travellers to shore if we need to anchor in the bay. However, we will most often overnight in the small marinas on each island we visit, so the Zodiacs aren’t used. Zodiacs can sometimes be awkward to climb in and out of, but a sense of humour and a can-do attitude are all you need.
This is an adventure on board a real yacht, which means living spaces, cabins, bathrooms and showers need to be shared with other passengers. Sleeping quarters can be relatively compact, but you will spend most of your time above board in the open air.
Please note that smooth sailing depends on the weather, so itinerary changes may occur at the last minute if the weather becomes unfavourable. You can trust your knowledgeable skipper to choose an alternative route or activity if any changes are made.

Important notes
This trip is onboard a mono hull sailing yacht. We use 2 types of sailing yachts for these departures, an Omega Kiss and an Aqua Kiss. Both yachts are of a similar standard
START TIME:
This trip starts on Day 1 in Dubrovnik at 3 pm.
ACCOMMODATION ONBOARD THIS SAILING YACHT
This trip is accommodated entirely on board a yacht of between 48ft to 52ft. A typical yacht for 8 travellers is equipped with 4 double share cabins, 2/3 shared bathrooms and 2 showers. Our boats are real yachts and this is a real sailing trip. Yachts are designed to keep sleeping areas to the absolute minimum of space, while maximising common areas as much as possible.
Rooms are allocated on arrival by our skipper according to group composition, which means it is not possible to reserve or guarantee any specific berth or cabin. Single passengers will be paired up with another passenger of the same gender, this will mean sharing a double cabin with a double mattress. Everyone including the skipper shares the bathrooms on board.
While not everyone may feel entirely comfortable living in such close quarters, those who are looking to revel in the adventure and exhilaration of an authentic sailing trip usually find any discomfort from cramped living conditions is more than made up for by the whole experience.
ADDITIONAL ACCOMMODATION:
Please note that the majority of our sailing trips start and/or finish at a marina or port. If you have pre-booked any additional accommodation through us, you will need to make your own way to the joining point on Day 1 and from the finish point on the final day. We do not provide transfers between hotels and the port/marina. Please check the 'Joining point instructions' and 'Finishing point' sections of the Essential Trip Information for details.
HOT WEATHER:
Summer temperatures can reach up to 40 degrees Celsius, which can be uncomfortable for those not used to the heat. Please consider the time of the year you wish to travel and your suitability to that season.
MINIMUM AGE:
The minimum age on this trip is 15. Please note that triple cabins are not available. If travelling with a child, the child will need to share with one of the adults, and the other adult will share with another adult passenger or purchase a single supplement.
PASSPORT DETAILS:
Please provide full passport details at time of booking including exact name as per passport, date of birth, nationality, issue and expiry dates as these are essential for booking services on this trip.
TRIP KITTY:
On this trip it's compulsory to contribute to a kitty of EUR100 per person. The kitty is an on-ground payment put into a central fund managed by travellers. It helps fund for breakfast and lunch on the boat and other small items such as ice, water, snacks and drinks. Travellers are responsible for the preparation of these meals onboard and to shop at port where supermarkets are often very close to the mooring. Kitty amounts are subject to change to reflect local price increases. On day 1, the skipper will talk through the kitty and how it will be managed (by yourself or fellow travellers) The kitty will be collected when you arrive at the welcome meeting or in stages throughout your trip.

I highly recommend this trip, it’s a great way to explore the islands. Our skipper was great, stopping at swimming spots, recommendations and sharing his knowledge. So go with an open mind about the group and itinerary - it’s a relatively small space, there’s weather and the unexpected, if you can do that you’ll love it.

Fantastic trip. Can’t believe I’ve not been to Croatia before. Sailing from Dubrovnik to Split showed a small selection of wonderful places, which I hope to explore more in future. Great skipper, Bruno, and fun group. Loads of lovely swimming in nice locations too. Thanks.

Ogi, our skipper for the trip, was down to earth and very knowledgeable about all the different islands. You can see he is passionate about what he does! Our group was great; we all got along and lived the full sailing experience, with many opting to sleep up on deck under the stars. We were also very chill about the itinerary and trusted Ogi with his recommendations. I loved the many different swimming spots we could explore and the less touristy places along the route. Cabin life may not be for everyone, so go in with an open mind and be ready for a laugh (especially when learning how to use the toilets!). Already missing the sailing life – I could not recommend the trip enough. Just do it!

this trip was very fun and quite often relaxing! all of the spots we visited were very beautiful and our skipper Ante was very lovely and knew all the best places for swimming and eating. this trip is loadsa fun and would definetely book a similar trip in the future! Disclaimer- i do not recommend this trip for anyone who is not willing to be sharing spaces in close quaters with anyone, including bedrooms, or visiting during July/August if you do not do well in the heat- cabins were often toasty at night.

These are my favourite holidays. Such a privilege to live on a boat & island hop. Beautiful part of the world with great food & wine. Really enjoyed the daily swim stops. Can not recommend highly enough.

This trip has some of the most amazing marinas and swim spots, with an amazing knowledgeable Skipper named Ante. The suggestions and connections he has really made this trip a once in a lifetime experience! The boat is tight space but most of the time you are on top the boat or exploring the ports so it isn’t a big part of the trip inside the cabin.

Excellent trip, very hot in July though, make sure you are OK sleeping outside because the boat can get toasty.
