Is this trip right for you?
The cuisine of Slovenia and Croatia includes a lot of meat and seafood. For vegetarians and vegans, it’s recommended reviewing the itinerary and inclusions to ensure that you’ll be able to fully participate and enjoy this trip. There are many other trips to Slovenia and Croatia which can accommodate a range of dietary requirements.
It’s recommended you pack light and smart for this trip, as you'll be required to carry your own luggage between train and bus stations and hotels, which can include going up and down multiple flights of stairs and across cobblestones.
Summer temperatures can be extreme in many regions of Italy (over 40°C), which can be uncomfortable. It’s essential to use sun protection, wear layers to combat the heat and drink plenty of water. Please consider the time of the year you wish to travel and your suitability for that season.

This was a great trip to see Croatia in a short amount of time and if you love food, I would recommend it. Our guide, Igor, was knowledgeable and allowed for a good mix of sightseeing and relaxation, including a few free afternoons to spend time at the beach and swim in the sea. All the locals we encountered were passionate about Croatia and it will inspire you to return and explore more of the Balkans.

Croatia is awesome to visit. It has gorgeous views, breathtaking scenery, lovely food, wine and olives, and nice people! The tour included comfortable and clean accommodation. Our guide gave us an orientation walk around the old city of Dubrovnik so we could buy our pass the next day and explore without getting lost. The tour leader shared amazing stories and insights as we travelled. It was an amazing trip.

Tour Leader Daniela is a great ambassador for Croatia. She is lovely. The tour itself seems to lack the food aspect we were looking for, but the beauty of Croatia saved it.
