Is this trip right for you?
verified
While there is no guarantee you will see a tiger during your safari in Ranthambhore, you may have a chance to see a variety of other wildlife, including hyenas, jackals, deer, langurs, marsh crocodiles, wild boars and birdlife.
verified
Make sure your luggage is light and compact enough to be carried up and down multiple flights of stairs.
verified
There are several long travel days on this trip. Some journeys take 6 to 8 hours but are a great opportunity to get to know locals, fellow travellers, and the diverse scenery. We are covering a lot of this vast country during the trip, so the journey is all part of the India experience.
verified
Prepare for hot and sticky temperatures during the day and cooler climates in the evening, particularly in the desert. Layers are one of the best ways to tackle this disparity in weather.
verified
We visit several temples on this trip, which requires a certain level of modesty. Please bring clothes that cover the arms and pants/skirts that go past the knees. A light scarf is also a good idea for covering shoulders and arms when it’s hot.
verified
We've sourced our accommodation carefully and picked the best possible hotels in line with the Tuuur style of travel. Service and accommodation in India may be different from western standards.

There is no better way to see India than with Intrepid. This tour has an excellent itinerary with a mix of cultural, outdoor, and culinary highlights. The accomodation was particularly delightful (and full of surprises). Our guide Surya went above & beyond! I’ll never forget this special time in India.

My husband and I had an amazing trip to India. Our leader Ree was wonderful. She was constantly giving us unique insights and tips on how to navigate India. I left considering Ree not only our group leader but moreover, a dear friend.

Abhimanyu N was an excellent leader. He was knowledgeable, organised, and shared India’s history and culture in a way that made every place more meaningful. He always made sure everyone felt comfortable and included, and his friendly personality added so much to the trip. We are very grateful for his guidance and care.
He genuinely cared about each person in the group, which created a warm, family-like atmosphere.

Our Intrepid tour of Rajasthan was wonderful and super informative. We were so lucky to have such an informative and friendly tour guide (Abhi) to pass on local knowledge, scams, hazards, history and travel tips to the tour group.
We highly commend Intrepid for their degree of research that goes into each tour.

Highly recommend this trip for people interested in seeing different parts of India and rajastan. Provided a great mix of destinations, accommodation types and activities. I travelled with my teenage son and we both really enjoyed all aspects of the trip, from food, to tours and time off to do our own thing.

Classic Rajasthan was filled with Palaces, forts and amazing food. With a few hidden treasures thrown in for good measure (Bundi should be more popular)

My partner and I didn’t know what to expect before India , wondering if it was like any other Asian country.
On arrival it became clear India was very unique.
Our fantastic guide kept us safe around India , everything he said I firmly believe was true when it came to who/what to avoid. He was easy to chat to and treated us like family while in his care.
Without Kush looking after us , I don’t think we would have survived.
