Is this trip right for you?
verified
While there is no guarantee you will see a tiger during your safari in Ranthambhore, you may have a chance to see a variety of other wildlife, including hyenas, jackals, deer, langurs, marsh crocodiles, wild boars and birdlife.
verified
Make sure your luggage is light and compact enough to be carried up and down multiple flights of stairs.
verified
There are several long travel days on this trip. Some journeys take 6 to 8 hours but are a great opportunity to get to know locals, fellow travellers, and the diverse scenery. We are covering a lot of this vast country during the trip, so the journey is all part of the India experience.
verified
Prepare for hot and sticky temperatures during the day and cooler climates in the evening, particularly in the desert. Layers are one of the best ways to tackle this disparity in weather.
verified
We visit several temples on this trip, which requires a certain level of modesty. Please bring clothes that cover the arms and pants/skirts that go past the knees. A light scarf is also a good idea for covering shoulders and arms when it’s hot.
verified
We've sourced our accommodation carefully and picked the best possible hotels in line with the Tuuur style of travel. Service and accommodation in India may be different from western standards.

My recent trip to India's Golden Triangle used Intrepid as the tour organiser and it was excellent, we saw past and current India in all it's glory and bedlam. Our guide, Anant Singh, was exceptionally brilliant making us feel safe but also adventurous.

The trip gave me an insight into India, it's culture & history. The trip is organised well, giving you plenty of opportunities to visit the bigger cities and the smaller villages. There was a good variety of things to do in both the included trips & optional trips. We were very lucky to see a tigers during our trip the Ranthambore reserve. Overall, a very memorable trip led by a fantastic guide called Anant Singh.

Intrepid Classic Rajasthan Tour was an amazing introduction to Indian life, culture and history. We experienced the beauty of Taj, wilderness, historic palaces and temples, and the “not so pretty” streets of Delhi
I feel we had a great immersive experience without too much of a culture shock

An amazing trip, you get to see so much with 2 weeks and you get to fully immerse yourself in the culture. It is fast-paced with a lot of early mornings, but this is necessary to experience all the places on this itinerary! I would recommend this trip to others absolutely. Great food, great excursions, some really interesting hotel stays, and our guide Kuldeep was incredible.
