According to Machu Picchu visiting regulations all visitors to Machu Picchu must follow a pre-determined circuit within the site as a way to relieve crowding. The circuit-based entrance tickets are available on a first come first serve basis. We will do all that is possible to get everyone traveling in a group on the same route, but be aware that it is possible that members of the same group might be visiting Machu Picchu on a different circuit and not be together during this visit. Once the guided visit concludes, visitors must exit the site and personal exploration of Machu Picchu is not permitted.

I went to Clasic Peru organised trip to Peru with Intrepid. It was very well organised trip, everything went smoothly and on schedule. It was a difficult trip logistically and I was grateful that I didn’t need to worry about anything. Our tour guide Kleberth Ovalle was absolutely fantastic and contributed to a successful and beautiful trip.

What an amazing experience. The guides were so knowledgeable. Giscard was well above what I expected. The highlight was the home stay we were made to feel so welcome and it was great to see how the people live. The floating islands were also a highlight for me. The people on the tour were all very friendly and we were just like a big family led by Gisgard. I would certainly use intrepid again and recommend to friends.

This was a wonderful trip! It's a very busy schedule but it was an amazing way to see Peru in a short period of time. Our guide (Giscard) was wonderful and so caring and knowledgeable. I was a little nervous about the homestay at first, but it ended up being one of the best highlights of the whole trip!
