This trip includes time spent travelling in a private vehicle with your group. Extra space can be tight, and conditions may feel a little cramped. It's all part of the adventure and a great way to get to know your fellow travellers. There are a few long days of travel, as you'll be covering a lot of ground. You will, however, make stops at interesting locations to break up the longer drives. Please read the itinerary carefully for travel time estimates.

As a desert country, Morocco can have extreme weather. Please consider the time of the year you wish to travel and your suitability to that season. Refer to the Climate and Seasonal Information section of the Essential Trip Information for more details.

Morocco has a tipping culture and travellers are expected to tip small amounts for most services. Your trip leader and the Money Matters section of the Essential Trip Information can assist you with this.

Although you shouldn’t expect any aggressive selling techniques in Morocco, it’s common to be approached by shop owners and street vendors offering their goods.

We've sourced our accommodation very carefully and picked the best possible hotels in line with the Tuuur style of travel, but please note that service and accommodation in Morocco may differ from standards at home.

Ramadan is an annual month-long festival, during which travel can be a rewarding cultural experience, however some regular services may not be available during the day, such as restaurants or cafes, and occasionally travel can be disrupted by events. Your leader will adjust the itinerary accordingly, but please consider this when selecting your travel dates. You’ll find dates and further information in the ‘Climate and seasonal information’ section of the Essential Trip Information.

Morocco - one word to describ it is “Wonderful”.
Always wondering what will be around the next corner during our 1850 km journey.
Full of culture, history, the old, new and meeting such friendly people. The country is hosting the world cup in 2030 so lots going on here to get ready as they love their soccer (football).
We are so glad we came and recommend Intrepid tours for an educational and safe visit across this wonderful country.

A great trip around Morocco, seeing so many different landscapes and sights. Our guide (Mohammed) was incredibly knowledgeable about the country. Riding a camel in the Sahara and walking through the Todra gorge were both highlights!

With so much in the itinerary, I knew I’d have a great time, but was ‘realistic’ about what to expect.
This trip surpassed all expectations and then some. Friends who saw my posts online have asked for details and since gone!
There was distinctly different scenery, stops and experiences every single day.
The accommodations were gorgeous, our guide Abdellah was knowledgeable, thoughtful, informative and a lot of fun! We’ve made friends for life within the group, done so many more wonderful experiences than we would have done on our own, including going into locals homes for dinners and timing the right part of the day for our camel ride, things that we would never have known, found or done without this trip.
For anyone cynical of a tour guided trip , take the leap, you won’t regret it.
Everything was thought of and done for us, all we had to do was enjoy ourselves!

We learned so much about the people of this country, their differences, and how they live together. Our guide was a joy. I highly recommend the trip.
