Trip Informations
Starting in the chaotic streets of Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh City for convenience, this trip takes you through Cambodia and all the way to Thailand's capital, Bangkok. Visit the ancient temples of Angkor Wat in Siem Reap, learn the secrets behind Khmer cuisine in Battambang and reflect on Cambodia's tragic history at the sobering sites of Phnom Penh. Journey through three of South East Asia’s most contrasting countries on an adventure that draws you away from the crowds and into the heart and soul of this captivating region.
Why you’ll love this trip
Take a short but sweet adventure that’s packed full of experiences that will give you an insight into Cambodia and the contrasts between three of the region's most fascinating countries.
Watch the sun rising over Angkor Wat as it did over 800 years ago. Wander through the ancient temples on a guided tour – with a three-day Angkor pass to cover your whole time in Siem Reap, you can explore this incredible temple complex as much and as often as you like!
Discover the countryside around Battambang on a bike ride around rural farms to meet with local producers, through an Tuuur partner and social enterprise that supports the local communities and provides training opportunities.
Experience life on the water on a boat tour through the floating villages of Tonle Sap Lake and understand the deep bond between the lake and the local communities.
Join in a confronting yet important tour in Phnom Penh to The Killing Fields of Choeung Ek and Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and reflect on its devastating impact on the modern Cambodia.

An excellent trip, with an excellent guide, Vannak. The pacing was exactly right, with the appropriate amount of time spent in. Angkor Wat. We could not visit Battenberg due to border hostilities, but the homestay which was substituted instead was a highlight of the trip

Oh my gosh, what an amazing time I have had in Cambodia. So many different experiences to take away from this country and it's extraordinarily resilient people. The tour itinery covers the necessary and sadly so recent terrible events of 1975-79 and leaves you with joy of the wonders if Ankor Wat. Our fantastic guide Sophea was so knowledgeable and was able to answer any question we threw at him! Come to Cambodia!

Cambodia is fascinating. The people are friendly. The recent history is heartbreaking but it is amazing how the country has recovered from the Pol Pot era. Intrepid did a good job of showing the country to us.
