Trip Informations
Starting in the chaotic streets of Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh City for convenience, this trip takes you through Cambodia and all the way to Thailand's capital, Bangkok. Visit the ancient temples of Angkor Wat in Siem Reap, learn the secrets behind Khmer cuisine in Battambang and reflect on Cambodia's tragic history at the sobering sites of Phnom Penh. Journey through three of South East Asia’s most contrasting countries on an adventure that draws you away from the crowds and into the heart and soul of this captivating region.
Why you’ll love this trip
Take a short but sweet adventure that’s packed full of experiences that will give you an insight into Cambodia and the contrasts between three of the region's most fascinating countries.
Watch the sun rising over Angkor Wat as it did over 800 years ago. Wander through the ancient temples on a guided tour – with a three-day Angkor pass to cover your whole time in Siem Reap, you can explore this incredible temple complex as much and as often as you like!
Discover the countryside around Battambang on a bike ride around rural farms to meet with local producers, through an Tuuur partner and social enterprise that supports the local communities and provides training opportunities.
Experience life on the water on a boat tour through the floating villages of Tonle Sap Lake and understand the deep bond between the lake and the local communities.
Join in a confronting yet important tour in Phnom Penh to The Killing Fields of Choeung Ek and Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and reflect on its devastating impact on the modern Cambodia.

The Cambodian Traveler trip was a wonderful insight into this country. We were able to experience the cities and the countryside and learn of its history and culture with an experienced and exceptionally talented guide. Seeing Angkor Wat was amazing but there were so many other highlights in this trip.

Our trip started in Hochumin City, my first introduction to Asia that was a shock headon with all the bikes & people, great City. however i loved all the places & villiages i got to go to & see how the Cambodians live, i was amazed how talented resiliant & friendly the people were, the bike ride to see how rice paper, rice wine was a highlight also the floating fishing Villiage wow" what different way to earn a crust(living]. Phnom Penh the tour of Tuoi Sleng & Genocide Meseum(s21) was certainly a sad & heart breaking modern history lesson. So many moments cities i loved so well informed by great tour guide Mr Ly i certainly would reccomend this trip especially to younger people but all ages wonderful memories to keep.

Cambodian Travellers, was the title of my tour. We were shown so many aspects of Cambodia. Home stays up close and personal with communites, brilliant. Local crafts being made. Traveling roads( great roads) rivers and lakes. Oh and the sea paddleboarding and snorkeling of the reef, colours galore. Padi rice field and how that is used the whole plant. We did visit the darkerside of Cambodia, but in a sensitive manner. Our host leader Muny, did say it can be upsetting and there was no pressure to participate if you didn't want to. There was so.much positivity in this tour, my mood soon lifted. Various activities, scenery and space. Do it enjoy it, you can but not. Happy touring. Xc
