Is this trip right for you?
verified
The cuisine of Cambodia includes a lot of meat and seafood. For vegetarians and vegans, we recommend reviewing the itinerary and inclusions to ensure that you will be able to participate and enjoy this trip fully. We also have many other trips to Cambodia that can accommodate various dietary requirements.
verified
Cambodia can get very hot, and even temple-hopping can take it out of you quickly. Remember to use sun protection and drink plenty of water.
verified
The bloody rule of the Khmer Rouge is a painful but essential part of Cambodian history to confront. If you would rather not visit the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S21) and the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek, just let your leader know.
verified
You will visit several temples on this trip, and this requires a level of modesty. Be sure to bring clothes that cover the arms and pants or skirts that go past the knees. A light scarf is also a good idea for covering shoulders and arms when it's hot.

What a great way to explore Cambodia, through the amazing food. This is such a beautiful country and the people are warm and friendly. This tour brings you to many of the countries highlights and also gives a glimpse into the "real" Cambodia by exploring small villages and the countryside. Highly recommend!

The most incredible, seamless, educational teip I have taken. Intrepid and PJ are combination not to be missed when visiting Cambodia. We will be back Intrepid!

This food tour is a must do to experience Cambodia! Food is a big part of the culture and you learn so much more about the way of life. History, local knowledge and the highlights are all part of the tour, personalised by the guide. If you are lucky enough to have Fila you will have the best time.

This was my first Intrepid trip and knowing not much about Cambodia, I feel that this experience enriched me.

I highly recommend the Cambodia Real Food Adventure with group leader Saopheak! She made this trip so fun! I learned so much about Cambodia, its food, the culture, its people, and its past from this trip. I didn't realize I would enjoy the food so much, but I like Cambodian food more than Vietnamese. It's a must-do if you enjoy seafood! Of course, Angkor Wat is the huge draw to visit Cambodia, but I learned there is so much more to see and learn about the country than just Angkor Wat. I recommend visiting APOPO in Siem Reap and staying an extra day or two in Siem Reap to visit the Kulen Elephant Forest if you can! It was the highlight of my trip.

If you’re considering visiting Cambodia , definitely book this trip.
It’s an amazing showcase of the place, the people and the culture.
There is so much amazing history to see and encounter from the star attraction of Angkor Wat to idyllic and chilled Kampot and also moments of growth.
The food is definitely a highlight - fresh fruit and lots of really good curries.
Come hungry
But the warmth of the people shines thorough everything - from the city to the country. Everybody is keen to show you the real Cambodia. It’s beautiful.
Highly recommended.

Absolutely loved this tour! Not only did we experience the food, but learned so much about the culture and history of Cambodia throughout. The Khmer people are welcoming and friendly, and I could not speak more highly of our tour leader Mom. She shared so much of her culture with us and was such a joy to be around. All the local guides were fantastic and every new destination got better and better. Could not recommend this tour and Cambodia as a whole more!
