Is this trip right for you?
verified
This trip uses a combination of public and private transport, and all vehicles are modern and have air-conditioning and most are fitted with seat belts. Some journeys can be long in order to maximise the areas visited, but this gives you a chance to interact with the local community and see more of the country. You'll also be pleasantly surprised to find most Turkish buses have wi-fi and serve coffee and cake! Please note that you'll have to carry your own luggage on and off the bus, so make sure it doesn’t exceed our weight and size recommendations. You can find specifics under ‘Packing’ in the ‘Essential Trip Information’ section.

If you want an appreciation of multiple layers of history, the movement of peoples, languages and religions, plus some breathtaking scenery, the Best of Turkey is a fabulous tour! Together with a small group of 9 led by our gregarious guide Emre Basoglu, we learned and laughed a lot! Highly recommended!

My daughter and I spent 15 days on the Best of Turkey trip.
I had 2 bucket items. Gallipoli and Cappadocia and my daughter-all the historical sights.
Thanks to our fantastic tour guide, Ilter with his wealth of knowledge and a great group of people we toured with, Turkey exceeded our expectations and the country and people have made such a positive and memorable impression, it’s become one of our highlight destinations. A well planned trip taking in all the “Best of Turkey” giving you the best of experiences
