Don’t let the heat keep you from exploring the world! Summer temperatures can be extremely high in Morocco (over 40°C), which can make things uncomfortable. It’s essential to use sun protection, wear layers to combat the heat, and drink plenty of water.

Ramadan is an annual month-long festival, during which travel can be a rewarding cultural experience, however some regular services may not be available during the day, such as restaurants or cafes, and occasionally travel can be disrupted by events. Your leader will adjust the itinerary accordingly, but please consider this when selecting your travel dates. You’ll find dates and further information in the ‘Climate and seasonal information’ section of the Essential Trip Information.

There are a couple of long travel days on this trip, particularly the day travelling to the Sahara Desert. Rest stops will be made on the way and you’ll be rewarded with great views on the drive itself.

An Unforgettable Experience with Rachid El Fahny – Our Amazing Tour Guide in Morocco
I recently had the pleasure of exploring Morocco, and I can honestly say that Rachid El Fahny was one of the biggest highlights of our trip! From the very beginning, it was clear that Rachid wasn’t just a tour guide—he is a passionate ambassador for his country.
Rachid greeted us with a warm smile at the Hotel and immediately made us feel at ease. His deep knowledge of Morocco's history, culture, and traditions was evident in every story he shared, and he brought every destination to life in a way that was both engaging and enlightening. Whether we were strolling through the vibrant souks of Marrakech, Fes and other Cities, discovering the vastness of the Sahara Desert, Rachid’s enthusiasm and insights made it all the more special.
What truly set Rachid apart was his ability to personalize the experience. He took the time to understand what we were interested in.It was an unforgettable experience to see skilled artisans at work and learn about the traditions behind their craft.
Beyond his knowledge and professionalism, Rachid was also incredibly personable. It felt less like a guided tour and more like we were traveling with a good friend. He had a great sense of humor and always made sure that everyone in the group was comfortable and enjoying themselves. Whether it was navigating the bustling streets or helping us with local etiquette, we always felt safe and well taken care of.
Rachid’s attention to detail, combined with his warm and friendly nature, truly elevated our trip to Morocco. I can’t recommend him enough to anyone looking for a genuine, insightful, and fun guide to Morocco. Thank you, Rachid, for making this journey so unforgettable!
Rachid is a credit to your company .
I would greatly appreciate it very much if you could forward the email or pass the message to him.
Regards,
Wieslaw (Vas) Wiesner

This was an amazing trip/experience. Morocco is an incredible country and our leader Houssin was truly awesome. He was kind and caring and always available for advice or recommendations. Our group was made up of a wide range of ages and Houssin was easily able to communicate with all. The accommodations were all comfortable and quite traditional. Highlights were Chefchaouen, the desert camp and Essaouira.

The Best of Morocco is what exactly what it says on the tin - the most amazing locations and experiences wrapped up in one epic trip. Morocco is diverse and unforgettably beautiful. This was my second trip there with Intrepid and totally different to the first. I would go back in a heartbeat.

The tour was very comprehensive, local guided tours were informative, accommodations were good, but the highlight was our guide, Manale. She truly made our trip memorable and her organization and suggestions were appreciated. The locations visited were varied and interesting.

I've traveled extensively but this was my first time aa a solo traveler in a group. On paper the itinerary was great, in person it was spectacular. And Manele, our leader, whose passion for her country, its people and culture, and her consummate ability to make us all feel like family made this an unforgettable experience.
