Don’t let the heat keep you from exploring the world! Summer temperatures can be extremely high in Morocco (over 40°C), which can make things uncomfortable. It’s essential to use sun protection, wear layers to combat the heat, and drink plenty of water.

Ramadan is an annual month-long festival, during which travel can be a rewarding cultural experience, however some regular services may not be available during the day, such as restaurants or cafes, and occasionally travel can be disrupted by events. Your leader will adjust the itinerary accordingly, but please consider this when selecting your travel dates. You’ll find dates and further information in the ‘Climate and seasonal information’ section of the Essential Trip Information.

There are a couple of long travel days on this trip, particularly the day travelling to the Sahara Desert. Rest stops will be made on the way and you’ll be rewarded with great views on the drive itself.

Our Best of Morocco trip truly did encompass a wealth of locations. In 15 days, we went from desert to mountains to oceanside, always accompanied by illuminating information from our guide about customs, religion, agriculture, etc. It was a colorful, enriching and adventure full vacation.

The Best of Morocco trip was great. The itinerary is fast paced and covers a lot of the country but that is what I wanted. Our tour guide Abdelkrim, Karim, was fantastic! He took care of every need and taught us so much about the country and culture.

We had a fantastic trip, enhanced by our tour guide, Rachid Al Fahmy who was exceptional in every way. Rachid quickly built trust by being responsive and supportive to all members of the group. He shared some of his personal story from his Amazigh upbringing, and this enabled us to engage more deeply with the experience.

I am well travelled but have never done a tour before. I cannot speak highly enough of the country, the sites, the group, and, even more so, the tour leader, Rachid. I have walked away with some great memories, new knowledge, and some new friends. I highly recommend this tour to anyone thinking of going to Morocco, and you should go.
