I took the two Borneo trips consecutively- Wild Sarawak and Sabah. The experiences in nature and the wildlife seen surpassed my expectations in both parts of the trip, we unexpectedly witnessed beach hatchings of baby turtles along with the planned hatchery release of the babies. The Mulu bat exodus was spectacular. Both of the leaders were excellent and had our interests and wellbeing in mind at all times. We also saw a Pygmy forest elephant herd by the river, again, an unexpected and amazing experience. Intrepid manage to fit so much into a short time without feeling time pressured. I believe I would not have managed to find all I experienced independently. A fantastic travel time all round. Thank you

This was an excellent 20 day trip of North Borneo (Sawarak and Sabah). It was action packed with many new and amazing experiences. Highlights included: the orangutan sanctuary near Kuching, hiking and river boat trip from Mulu, home stay and great food in Sabah village, hiking Mt Kinabalu, Turtle Island and so many other activities! Our group leaders were very good with local knowledge and able to manage complex logistics. Highly recommended for adventure minded travelers with a good level of fitness.

The two sides of Borneo in 20 days was a real workout and a challenge for us at our age, harder than we expected.
That said, it was a great trip and I'm really pleased we pulled it off.

Really enjoyable trip with lots of highlights - Mulu, its creepy crawlies and the amazing bat exodus from Deer Cave, travelling by longboat, a successful if challenging summit of Mt Kinabalu and the amazing wildlife on Kinabatangan River. Don't underestimate Mt Kinabalu - it is an unrelenting challenge, and when you think it can't get any more difficult, it does!

From wildlife to mountain view beyond imagination this trip provides a great blend of the two. Mt Kinabalu is a standalone experience in itself. Of all the mountains I've tackled in the past, this one is in a league of it's own. For those thinking of doing it, be prepared for a lot of up with little to no plateaus, a lot of stairs, both wooden and rock, moments where you need to use a rope to safely traverse the beast and a cardio challenge of epic proportions. From that to witnessing wildlife in their natural habitat. From orangutans to the rhinoceros hornbill, don't forget your binoculars and cameras

The best time for a while, a great journey for the 3 weeks I'm in Borneo. Its was everything I could have imagined. Well almost as Mt Kinabalu was a leg killer, get plenty of practice.
