Trip Informations
Journey along the eastern side of South America on this 10-day adventure from Buenos Aires to Rio de Janeiro. Start by sipping yerba mate and exploring the markets of Argentina’s fiery capital before embracing ranch life with horse rides, homecooked meals and campfires at a Uruguayan estancia. Then swap the dusty plains for the subtropical rainforests at Iguazu Falls and see the epic cascades from both the Brazilian and Argentinian sides. Finish in Rio, unwinding on the sandy shores of Copacabana and Ipanema with an ice-cold caipirinha.

An incredible snapshot of a rich variety of cultures, landscapes, and people from vibrant cities to peaceful country farms. We were truly blessed to have an exceptional tour leader in Ernesto, along with an amazing group that made the experience even more memorable - non-stop fun and laughter. For anyone who is gluten intolerant, there’s no need for concern, Ernesto went above and beyond to ensure I was always well catered for, finding plenty of suitable options along the way, which I deeply appreciated.

My guide Guilherme is the number one reason I loved my South American tour. He exemplified the highest standard of tour leadership, combining professionalism, punctuality, and exceptional attention to detail to ensure a seamless experience from start to finish. His warmth and kindness created a welcoming group environment, while his genuine passion for local communities brought each destination to life. Guilherme made every moment effortless and deeply enriching.

I absolutely loved this trip. It included many beautiful destinations, such as Buenos Aires, Iguazu Falls, and my favourite, Rio de Janeiro. There was a lot of travelling, packing and unpacking, but we knew this would be the case beforehand. Overall, the trip was very well organised. Thanks to our group leader, Ernesto, we definitely made the most of it.
If I have one remark, it would be that the description of the estancia didn’t really match our experience, and that the stay there was a little too long.

This itinerary was my first introduction to South America and I loved every second of it. It is a great combination of cities and rural life to get a great snapshot of the area. The Uruguayan part of the trip was unexpectedly my favourite and cannot recommend that experience more.

Amazing travel group before the trip, during and after. When there is a language barrier everything was taken care of and you just show up and they have it all taken care of! It’s like traveling as a kid with your parents!
