It was ALL about the VIBES!!! I came for Iguazu Falls and Cristo Redentor (both of which exceeded expectations) and left hungry for more of Argentina and Brazil. The food, the sights, the people...all amazing! I watched a bunch of YouTube videos and read some guides before I went and it really did not capture the spirit of these places. They are places you have to experience. Buenos Aires was so European with a Latin-American twist and Rio de Janeiro was so wonderfully chaotic and vibrant. Victor, our Group Leader, was incredible and unflappable--catering to all of our diverse wants, recommending good food/restaurants and that we get our daily dose of vitamins from the caipirinhas! Everything he suggested was gold. We got up close and personal on the optional boat ride UNDER the falls. It was wet but exhilarating. He suggested an optional guided hike in the Tijuca National Park which was definitely a highlight for me. The guides we had for each of these cities were so passionate and knowledgeable and left me wanting to learn more. This was a fantastic itinerary for South American neophytes (I had only been to Peru before--another wonderful country)--a teaser...enough to whet your appetite that you go home already thinking of planning your next trip to South America. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

It’s a sign of an amazing trip, when all I want to do afterwards is plan more visits to the same area. Victor, our leader was genuinely kind, thoughtful, funny, and engaging. He built trust with integrity, organization, and good communication. If you get him as your tour leader, be prepared to eat very well.

Cannot fault our best of Argentina and Brazil trip! From the sights to the included activities it was so much fun! The only thing I regret is not booking it for a longer tour! I felt we where incredibly lucky too with our group leader Victor, he was excellent, had such a positive attitude and I would book another trip with him as our group leading any day!

I really enjoyed my intrepid! It took all the stress out of traveling and left all the adventure in. My group was great and we had a fantastic tour leader which really made the trip for me. Not only were all the accommodation and activities included great the tour leader makes the trip more personal and had great recommendations for our free time. I would highly recommend and book with intrepid again.

Just finished a short trip through Buenos Airs, Iguazú and Rio de Janeiro and it was excellent. Learnt lots about the areas we visited in the time available. Accommodation was good and travel arrangements were well organized. Tour guides were friendly and knowledgeable. A great first experience with Intrepid Tours.
