Trip Informations
Travel to Bali and discover Indonesia's beautiful island escape. Dotted with small, character-filled villages, smouldering volcanoes rising out of lush rich fields, paradisical beaches and colourful reefs, Bali is everybody’s favourite getaway for a reason! Conquer the slopes of simmering Mt Batur, explore an underwater world in Bali Barat National Park, feast on delicious local cuisine and enjoy moments of absolute peace in Pura Ulun Danu Bratan – a Hindu–Buddhist lake temple dedicated to the goddess of the waters. Fall in love with the warmth of the people, the ornate customs and welcoming culture that are synonymous with beautiful Bali.

Is this trip right for you?
verified
A good level of fitness is essential on this trip, as there are several physical activities included (cycling from Ubud, walking up Mt Batur at sunrise and snorkelling in Bali Barat National Park).
verified
There is one very early start – your sunrise climb of Mt Batur kicks off at 3 am. This means you'll be walking over some gravel and volcanic rock in the dark. Head torches, warm clothing and good walking shoes are a must. The view at sunrise is well worth the effort, especially if the weather's fine!
verified
We visit villages and small towns on this trip, where life is more conservative than in the tourist areas. You will need to bring clothes that allow your shoulders and knees to be covered for both men and women. At some hot springs, you’ll need to wear a t-shirt and shorts over your swimwear.
verified
Bali is blessed with a consistent climate for most of the year. However, the rainy season (usually October to March) brings frequent downpours. The good news is that these rainy bursts don't last long, and it is usually still warm.

Amazing trip. Our tour Leader was incredible and the itinerary was very special. I feel it was a good representation of the real Bali. I’ve been to Bali many times. I brought my son with me and we both agreed it was the best trip we have done.

The Beautiful Bali trip was incredible! We were able to explore a range of well-known as well as off the beaten track places across Bali. I thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Guest house and meeting the locals in Sibetan. My highlight would definitely be the snorkelling opportunity in Lovina as it was just a brilliant day from start to finish. All the accommodation across the whole week was amazing and very unexpected. Don't underestimate the walk up Mount Batur but I am still proud that I was able to take part and see the beautiful sunrise. I highly recommend this trip to everyone as it has a bit of everything! A huge thank you to our group leader Wayan who made the week what it was with his humour and forward planning. Thank you Intrepid!

The trip was enjoyable, fun and educational. In particular, I learnt the importance of community to the Balinese people. We got real insights to living in rural Bali, and an appreciation that Bali has so much more to offer than resorts. Srix (guide) and Purna(driver) made the trip so much more satisfying. Thoroughly recommended.
