Trip Informations
Lose yourself in three of Europe's most enchanting countries on this 15-day adventure from Barcelona to Rome. Arrive in the vibrant streets of Barcelona, then travel into the heart of the Spanish Pyrenees. Discover Provencal food and world-class wines as you frolic with Europe’s high rollers in the French Riviera, then feast on breathtaking sights in the cliff-top towns of the Cinque Terre. See master works of art in Florence and get your iconic pic at the leaning Torre de Pisa. Call into beautiful Siena before ending it all in the ancient city of Rome.
Why you’ll love this trip
Spend your free time in Barcelona visiting Gaudi's modern basilica, La Sagrada Familia – a Gothic masterpiece that embodies the city’s artistic and progressive heart.
Hike in the scenic Spanish Pyrenees mountains, taking in the fresh air, panoramic views and an exhilarating sense of freedom.
Explore the Provencal landscapes of southern France and gain an understanding as to why this part of the world is so adored by artists.
See The Leaning Tower for Pisa’s most iconic image, then discover The Piazza dei Miracoli and Pisa Baptistry for masterpieces in medieval-Italian architecture.
Enjoy plenty of free time in Rome to discover the ancient Colosseum, stroll through Vatican City and gaze up towards the gods inside St Peter's Basilica.
Is this trip right for you?
Please keep your luggage as small and light as possible. You'll be travelling on public transport where storage space is limited. You'll need to be able to lift your luggage into storage racks, walk across cobblestone streets with it and carry it up and down stairs.
Less time spent travelling, more time to explore each destination. The primary means of transportation on this trip is by train. Trains are a fast way to cross long distances, allowing you to avoid traffic jams and arrive right into the city centre. They are comfortable and all have toilets, however, can sometimes be quite busy.
Europe is steeped in old buildings, and often there are no lifts or escalators, particularly in some train stations or hotels.
Don’t let the heat keep you from exploring the world! Summer temperatures can be very high (over 40°C), which can make things uncomfortable. It’s important to use sun protection, wear layers to combat the heat, and drink plenty of water.
Hotels in Europe often don't have double beds, but rather two single beds that can be pushed together. In some cases, bathroom facilities will be shared rather than ensuite.
