This trip involves an 11-day trek at high altitude (up to and above 5000 metres) – precautions and acclimatisation are undertaken, but be aware of the effects altitude can have. An excellent level of fitness is required on this trip, with treks of up to 9 hours a day at high altitude. See our guide to trekking in the region here to help decide if this trip is what you are looking for in a holiday: https://www.tuuur.com/adventures/annapurna-circuit-hiking-guide https://www.tuuur.com/adventures/annapurna-circuit-hiking-guide (https://www.tuuur.com/adventures/annapurna-circuit-hiking-guide)
verified
With climate change the weather on the Annapurna Circuit is becoming less predictable, and high risk weather conditions can cause significant damage to the trail even outside of rainy season, and during the winter months the Thorong La Pass can be closed due to heavy snowfall. Should this occur, alternative arrangements will be made by your group leader, and you might switch to the Annapurna Base Camp itinerary instead. 1. A single supplement is available if you’d prefer not to share a room on this trip. The single supplement will only be included on Days 1,13,14 (Hotel) and is subject to availability. Please speak to your booking agent for further information.
verified
2. You must bring 2 passport size photographs for your trekking permit.

3. Due to climate change, weather on the Annapurna Circuit is becoming less predictable. High-risk weather conditions can cause significant damage to the trail even outside the rainy season, and during the winter months, the Thorong La Pass can be closed due to heavy snowfall. Should this occur, alternative arrangements will be made by your group leader, and you might switch to the Annapurna Base Camp itinerary instead, details of which can be found by searching our website for Annapurna Base Camp.
verified
4. There are dirt roads stretching from Besisahar until Manang. Travellers may need to walk on the road in most of the trekking sections at the beginning. We try to use the alternate walking track to avoid the road as much as possible. The jeep ride from Kagbeni to Kalopani on Day 12 is also on a dirt road and can be bumpy.
verified
5. This trip ends in Pokhara. Tuuur offers a pre-arranged transfer and flight service option back to Kathmandu airport. Enquire with your agent at least 30 days prior to your trip departure.
verified
6. You must bring an emergency fund of USD 500 in cash with you on this trip, which you may need to use in case of delayed or cancelled flights. This is especially important should you choose to opt to take a helicopter as this will be at the travellers expense.
verified
7. As this trip ends in Pokhara, if you wish to transfer your stored luggage from Kathmandu to Pokhara, we can arrange this by a private vehicle. Additional cost is 110 USD. This cost is divided among the interested participants.
verified
8. Please be aware that in the event of an emergency evacuation, Tuuur does not have control over which helicopter service may be used. Some helicopters are not in regular use with Tuuur and have not passed our internal safety auditing.
verified
9. Your health and safety is our priority. Your leader may delay or stop your ascent based on your medical conditions and AMS symptoms. Please ensure your insurance includes coverage for activities above 5500m, mountain rescue, and helicopter evacuation costs. Without adequate insurance cover, helicopter evacuation requires upfront payment.

My first extensive trek was an incredible experience. The spectacular sights, sounds and interactions with locals ( both humans and animals) far outweighed the physical
challenges of the trek. The hospitality of locals during and after a hard day trekking was welcomed and wonderful. The group and team became family, full of fun and laughter which made the trip even better. Thanks Intrepid, I couldn't have done it without you.

Unforgettable trip, 100% recommend. Made friends for life with the others on tour and our leaders and guides Jimee, Dawa and Niri were amazing. They truly made the trip unforgettable with their knowledge, friendliness, and constant care. They always made sure we felt safe and comfortable, and their warm, accommodating nature was the highlight of the entire experience.

A special thanks to Jam and Sushil who made this trip memorable. They were attentive and ensured all our needs were met. They were always checking we ate well and hydrated and set the pace for each day which ensured we all made it over La Thorong pass. As well as TT they worked as a team and I will always remember how they helped my dream of successfully completing ACT come true at 62. My forever hot drink for ever is now Lemon Ginger and Honey. Thank you 🙏

My time on the Annapurna circuit was my first dedicated international holiday and it has been a lifetime experience. If you are lucky to have TT, Jan or Sushil on your trek you will have an amazing time! I can’t wait to return to Nepal after this experience!

Incredible trip with Intrepid, would definitely recommend. Our trek was very well organised, had a great itinerary, and it was made fantastic on account of our amazing intrepid guide NB and our assistant guides Subash and Nimu who taught us so much about Nepal and ensured we were well looked after during our trip. A stunning trip!

I did the Annapurna Circuit in April 2025, the trip was everything I could have wished for we had a fantastic leader Niroj and the perfect group of 12. We were lucky with clear skys, the pace of the trip was perfect and we had so many laughs along the way. The scenery was very variable and we got to see different communities along the way. I would highly recommend this trip

ACT was a really worthwhile trip. I had been debating between ACT and ABC but glad I went with this trip. The variety of scenery from humid jungles with local villages to high altitude views of amazing snow capped mountains meant every day was a highlight. This was made all the better by our fantastic guide Niroj, assistant guides Swishti and Raj and our super strong porter team!
I recommend bringing a good thin buff for the dust on the roads.
