Trip Informations
Why you’ll love this trip
Admire the diverse Himalayan landscape as you hike through remote villages, fairy-tale forests, vast moorlands cut by cascading rivers and the blue-hued peaks of base camp as they glow under starlight!
Experience a magical sunrise over the Annapurna ranges from the spectacular heights of Poon Hill – an early morning hike to this prime spot will be well worth the effort.
Relax and unwind in Pokhara after your trek, choose to cruise along Phewa Tal (Lake) and gaze up at snow-capped mountains or opt for a relaxing massage to rejuvenate those tired legs.
Be accompanied by an experienced trek leader along with assistant guides and porters, who will not only give you all the support and guidance you need along the way, but also introduce you to the rich local Sherpa culture.
Know that you are supporting a company that operates their treks according to standards that provide respectful, safe and fair working conditions not only in Nepal, but on all trips globally.
Is this trip right for you?
There are 10 days of strenuous trekking on this trip. You’ll be trekking up to 8 hours a day and at altitudes over 4000 metres at times, so you need to be aware of altitude sickness. Visit tuuur.com/altitude-sickness for more information.
It’s very important it is to be in excellent fitness and health, which means training in the lead up to your trip in order to be best prepared.
The trekking lodges, known as teahouses, that you stay in on the trek are very simple with only basic facilities. Hot water may not always be available and may cost extra, as will access to electricity points for charging devices. Wifi is available at some locations, but connections may be poor.
What you need to take will vary depending on the season you are trekking in and it’s important to be prepared. See some tips for what to pack here: tuuur.com/adventures/packing-guide-for-trekking-in-nepal
The Annapurna trek is a popular route and you will encounter many other trekkers and groups on your trip during your hike and at the teahouses. If you are after a trek that sees less travellers and spends more time trekking through communities rather than on a more established route, see our Tamang Heritage & Langtang Valley Trek (HNXV).
Due to the nature of outdoor travel, please be aware that this trip will operate on an amended itinerary in high risk weather conditions.

This was a fantastic experience, challenging and beautiful in equal measure. Nepal is the most picturesque country with amazing people, and the Himalayas have to be seen once in your lifetime. Highly recommended

An unforgettable experience on the ABC trek thanks to the incredible team—TT, Chundra, and Nandu. TT made us feel safe every step, while Chundra and Nandu brought endless joy, laughter, and insight. Their warmth and knowledge made the trip truly special. I can’t wait to return for the circuit!

This was a very challenging but extremely enjoyable trip. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys hiking and is reasonably fit, to get properly up into the Himalayas is a dream come true! Dipendra, our trip leader, and Padam, our guide, were fantastic. A great trip!

The trip was really well run and the locations speak for themselves. Truly amazing experience. Dipendra, Padam the crew were also great throughout. However we were shocked by the level of dust pollution in the cities and at lower altitudes (<2500m) which materially impacts visibility. Intrepid should be flagging this risk upfront. Also there is quite a bit of litter on the trails despite tours efforts to litter pick.

The trip by intrepid will be one to remember for the rest of my life. The views and the food were second to none, what can i say nepal is so beautiful. Lead by Sangam and his two assistant guides Man and Satya, these guys are true gentleman making sure all guests were taken care of to the highest of standards. They lead us through beautiful terrain in the most safest and easiest way from the condition the body from low altitude and all the way to high altitude. These guys are truely remarkable. The porters Bichari,Anil,Dil and jiwan! are incredible they have great english but also really strong humans we could not have done it without them carrying our luggage all the way to the highest of altitudes. We all had a good dinner and dance on the last night in Potana which bonded us even stronger. This will be one trip i will never forget and the team will forever be in my heart.
