Is this trip right for you?
This is an active trip packed with cycling, white-water rafting, zip-lining and trekking activities. To fully enjoy all activities, you'll need a moderate level of fitness. To participate in the rafting experience, you'll need to be a confident swimmer. Please read the Special Info within your daily itinerary for details about hiking and cycling distances and terrain.

While the accommodation is simple, it's a friendly, family-run chalet-hotel with a reputation for fantastic hospitality with hearty and delicious food.

Important notes
1. Transferring to and from Soldeu: We offer pre-bookable transfers from/to Barcelona airport (BCN) for an additional fee. The arrival transfer is only available for flights that arrive before 11:30 am on Day 1. The departure transfer is in the early morning on the last day and arrives at the airport at approximatey 9 am. If you have pre-booked this service, please ensure you provide your flight details to your booking agent at least 7 days prior to travel so the transfer can be organized.
2. A single supplement is available if you’d prefer not to share a room on this trip. The single supplement applies to all nights of your trip and is subject to availability. Please note that due to the small properties we use in Europe there is only a limited amount of single supplements available per trip departure. Please speak to your booking agent for further information.
3. The trip is graded as active and requires no previous experience although an ability to cycle is essential for the mountain biking. Days of mountain biking, walking and rafting can be a rigorous test of stamina, but with full vehicle support we believe anyone in good health should be capable of participating. The difficulty of the walks and rides will depend on the ability of the group and will be adjusted accordingly. PLEASE NOTE, all the activities will take place in mountainous terrain where weather is rather temperamental. Some adjustments to the walks or cycling routes may be done on the day, depending on the weather forecast, and will depend on our experienced leader’s good judgement.
4. Most people buy packed lunches; you might find a sealable plastic box useful for storing it in your daypack. Although not essential, gloves for cycling make it more comfortable - especially if you grip hard. Wetsuits provided for rafting come with booties. Shoes are not provided for biking, so please bring comfortable shoes suitable for cycling.

The hosts, Nick & Nuria, put an incredible amount of effort into the daily activities as well as the atmosphere and operations of their hotel. They were fantastic to speak to, learn from, and enjoy the hikes, bikes and long drives with. Pat was a well of knowledge! Not to mention all the lovely people who were also on this trip with Intrepid. Everyone was great to talk to and I loved getting to know more about them during the time we spent together. Andorra itself is a beautiful country nestled in the Pyrenees, and it makes it easy to enjoy each day there. Great balance of physical activity, sightseeing, local culture and customs, and nature. Being able to explore Barcelona for a full day before my flight left on the last day was also a fantastic experience for being on my first trip solo. Definitely recommend planning to spend a day in the city before you head back home!

Nick, Nuria created a great atmosphere and gave options if needed / wanted for the activities. They were very supportive and encouraging at whatever level each individual participated. It was good to have a welcoming and comfortable base to come back to every day. The scenery surpassed what I expected.

This trip was excellent, each day was varied so never boring, and the central location of the hotel meant there was plenty of time to relax and recoup between activities. Nick and Nouria are lovely hosts and make you feel very welcome at their hotel. Andorra is a beautiful country and this was the best way to experience it!

Nick and Nuria were excellent hosts and guides (thank you for putting together such a great week!!). The group was fun and we all got on well from day 1 which really made the trip IMO. The hikes were beautiful and just the right amount of challenging for me (I'm reasonably fit and hike regularly). The bike days were a blast as well but I skipped some of the optional more challenging uphill climbs and thought it was nice for everyone to pick and choose according to their level. The rafting as well was soo fun.

Want a good value active summer holiday – then this Andorra trip is a hidden jewel. The mountain location for hiking, biking, rafting and ziplining is superb, with many excursions starting from the hotel. Nick and Nuria are wonderful hosts who enable the magic of small group tours to happen. Recommended!
