On Short Break Adventures, you maintain a good level of independence and freedom, with the added bonus of having the details sorted out for you. You’ll have lots of free time and you won’t be accompanied by a trip leader. This means that all included activities and tours will be run by different local Tuuur partners, and these may operate independently from each other. The included activities and transfers may operate on a join-in basis, which means that you could have your adventure all to yourself, or others may join you along the way. If you would prefer to travel in a group with a dedicated leader, just get in touch with your booking agent and they will take you through some alternatives.

a great trip to Santiago and a wonderful introduction to this historical city. Is Adora Fernanda and Rafael were all wonderful guides and insured we had a good time as well as learning lots about the topics we had chosen. It was great to be contacted in advance by WhatsApp and I was delighted I had provided my number for this purpose. They also took great efforts to ensure we had photographs of important or relevant items of the Tours. they kept the Tours moving without seeming rushed.

The service that was provided surpass my expectations to the point I did not mind going on another alone trip. Knowing that the tour guide and advisor was responding to every question and made suggestions and advice.

Santiago is great place to visit! The short break was good. The city tour went to all the main sites and day trip to Valparaiso and winery was great also. Local guides were very good.

Santiago is a fun city. The hotel option from intrepid was substandard…

Overpriced & Underdelivered - don’t do it,
I would never contemplate using Intrepid again & I would never recommend using the company to anybody.

The local tour guides are very knowledgeable and showed their enthusiasm.
However on the downside, there is a breakdown for the communication from local tour operator. There is no information available for me, as details and times for the tour pick up. I had to make an effort and reach out…they also swapped the planed itinerary without any notice. It’s very unorganised.
